Delete your watermochi account

watermochi works without an account. The only account is the optional Friends account. Here is how to delete it, with or without the app.

From the app (fastest)

1. Open watermochi and go to the Friends tab.
2. Tap My account.
3. Tap Delete my friends account, then confirm. You may be asked for your password or to sign in again.

Deletion is immediate.

Without the app

Write to our email address from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it within 30 days at the latest, usually within a few days, and confirm by email. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.

What is deleted

• your email and nickname, your password (stored as a hash) or your Google sign-in;
• your friendships, requests, mutes and blocks;
• your invitations and your friend card;
• your sessions and notification identifiers.

Leftover copies in technical backups disappear within 30 days.

What stays

• Your drink log stays on your phone. To erase it: Settings → My data → Erase my local log, or uninstall the app.
• Your Premium purchases stay linked to your Google Play account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: to stop it, open the Play Store, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The anonymous purchase record is kept for our accounting obligations.
